L3 OceanServer builds the first commercially developed family of low cost AUVs, Iver, ideal for coastal applications such as sensor development, general survey work, sub-surface security, research and environmental monitoring. These modern AUVs are single man-portable and feature simple point and click mission planning. The platform is a state of the art open system that can be launched and operated from shore.

The Iver family of AUVs are used in missions including: mine counter measures (MCM), hydrography, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), environmental monitoring, anti-sub warfare, research, survey and search and recovery. Built with battlespace understanding and leading edge technology, the Iver family of vehicles are capable, modular, reliable and field proven.

L3 Technologies (OceanServer’s parent company) is a leading provider of a broad range of communication, electronic and sensor systems used on military, homeland security and commercial platforms. The company’s products complement L3’s existing portfolio of sensor and communication offerings as well as its ISR, anti-submarine warfare and mine countermeasures capabilities.

L3 OceanServer serves and supports defense, research and commercial communities so that together we can help make the world a safer, more habitable and environmentally sustainable place to live.
